| D01 Lijiang arrival
Arrive at Lijiang. Lijiang is a step back in time, and it still preserves much of the original architecture and lifestyle of Naxi people nearly a century ago. Visit the Suhe Tea and Horse Old Town, a primitive village which is special for its unsophisticated simplicity. After a walk to the Black Dragon Pond where is an ideal place to photographing the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (5596 m). n, you will have free time on your own for sightseeing of the Old Town of Lijiang. D02 Lijiang
Excursion to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with a chair lift ride and visit the Spruce Meadows. Hike in the mountain to enjoy the breathtaking view of the main peak. Enjoy an outdoor performance of over 400 Naxi minority show–Impression Lijiang. On the way back, visit the Baisha Village, a typical Naxi village which is famous for its 500 years old fresco and the classical music, and the 600-year-old Camellia Tree of 10,000 blossoms at the Yufeng Lama Temple. D03 Lijiang-Tiger Leaping Gorge
Drive to Tiger-leaping Gorge which is one of the deepest gorges in the world. The gorge is 3000 m deep yet only 30 m wide at the narrowest spot, from there, the local legend said, a tiger could leap over across the Yangtze. On the way you will stop at the village of the Stone Drum where you will have a look at the first bend of the Yangzi River. (B+L)
