D01 Chengdu arrival
Arrive at Chengdu, well known for its hot and spicy food, and the national treasure--Giant Panda. Visit the Giant Panda Base, where people can get approached to the pandas and take closely look of the cute animals. After lunch of local snack, visit the Temple of Marquis Wu, dedicated to Zhuge Liang, the personification of noble character and intelligence in Chinese history. Have a short walk at old Jinli Street next by, houses along this street keep Chuanxi style. (L)

D02 Chengdu-Leshan-Chengdu
Start from Chengdu by van in the morning, en route viewing the beautiful rural scene of Chuanxi Plain. After two hours’ drive on the expressway, you will arrive at Leshan and begin the sightseeing of Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest stone sculpture of Buddha in the world. It took a total of 90 years to finish. You will also visit Lingyun Temple, Xinggu Zhandao. Drive back to Chengdu. (B+L)

D03 Chengdu departure 
Visit the Wangjiang Tower Park, where you'll stroll along the scenic paths to historic pavilions and halls built in memory of Xuetao, a female poet of the Tang Dynasty. Drink tea inside the park as local people. Transfer to the airport for flight to next destination. (B)
