D01 Beijing arrival Welcome to Beijing. Beijing served as the capital of 5 dynasties over a period of 800 years with each emperor identified as a dragon sent from the heaven. Spend the rest of the day exploring the nearby streets, or resting and catching up on your jetlag.
D02 Beijing The day's sightseeing begins with a visit to Tiananmen Square-the heart of Beijing and the Forbidden City, the largest and most intact conglomeration of ancient structures of the imperial palace ever built in the world. Explore its Chambers and view the priceless treasures of China's past. In the afternoon, visit Temple of Heaven, used to offer sacrifices to heaven and pray for good harvest in ancient times. Watch the exciting Legend of Kungfu at Red Theatre in the evening. The show is a must-see production in Beijing for tourists and Kung Fu lovers. (B+L+D)
D03 Beijing Journey to the Great Wall and stroll along this incredible wonder, the only man-made structure visible from space! Enjoy the breathtaking view! Before returning to the city you’ll enjoy visiting the Chang Tomb (one of the Ming tombs), and the attractive tree-lined Sacred Road. This is an attractive destination as much for the natural scenery of the area as for the tombs themselves. You will also visit the the Bird Nest (Olympic National Stadium) and the Water Cube (Olympic Aquatic Center). A delicious Peking Duck Dinner awaits us at the end of the day. Eating Peking duck is seen to be one of the two things you are absolutely supposed to do while in Beijing. The other one is climbing the Great Wall. (B+L+D)
D04 Beijing-Chongqing by air Fly to Chongqing. Visit the Chongqing Zoo to see lovely pandas, and the Erling Park to take a bird's eye view of the whole city of Chongqing. In the late afternoon, send to the pier to board the luxury cruise. (B+L)
D05 Yangtze River Cruising Sail along the Yangtze with its vertical limestone cliffs. If water levels cooperate, stop at Shibaozai, a magnificent wooden pavilion constructed without nails, perched dramatically against a sheer rectangular cliff; or shore excursion to the Fengdu Ghost City. Locals gather here to pray for a good afterlife and re-incarnation in their next life. (B+L+D)
D06 Yangtze River Cruising Board a riverboat and embark on a voyage down the Lesser Three Gorges or Shennongxi Stream, depending on water levels. It’s a tranquil journey that will take you through “Dragon Gate,” “Misty Gorge” and “Emerald Gorge.” (B+L+D)
D07 Yichang-Shanghai by air Visit the site of the controversial Three Gorges Dam before disembarking your luxury ship. Fly to Shanghai, the economic city of China. Stroll in the Nanjing Road, one of the most popular fashion and shopping destinations in China, and the Bund (Wai Tan) waterfront area, where used to be foreign concessions and now is the symbol of modern Shanghai. (B+L)
D08 Shanghai A sightseeing journey takes us to the Jade Buddha Temple, one of the best-preserved temples in China containing two Burmese jade Buddha statues, and Yu Garden founded by the Pan family, rich Ming Dynasty officials after the construction of 18 years. The nearby Bazaar offers some delicious lunchtime snacks and welcome greenery. More than 100 specialty shops and restaurants jostle shoulders over narrow laneways and small squares. Climb Oriental TV Tower for a bird eye view of the city. Watch stunning acrobatic extravaganza- Era-intersection time. As the first of its kind in China, it is the combination of traditional Chinese acrobatic arts and modern technology. (B+L+D)
D09 Shanghai-Suzhou-Shanghai by van Take van to Suzhou, referred as the Venice of the East. Visit the Lingering Garden, the best garden in Suzhou as well as being one of the four most famous gardens in China, and the Master of Nets Garden the smallest yet the most impressive one of the Suzhou residential gardens. Tour a silk factory, where you can learn how silk is extracted from silk worms, and gain some hands-on experience turning it into the fine material used to create Chinese costumes. In the afternoon, take boat to cruise on Grand Canal, the longest man-made waterway as well as being the greatest in ancient China. (B+L)
D10 Shanghai departure Depart Shanghai for the next destination. (B)

They may also prefer to choose a unique restaurant which appeals to their own unique interests.
