D01 Lhasa arrival
Arrive at Lhasa. The guide will meet you at Gongar airport (3600m) and present Hasa to express sincere welcome and best wishes. On the way the van will stop for many marvelous views. Upon arrival at Lhasa city (3658m), have a good rest at hotel to acclimatize the high altitude.

D02 Lhasa
Today visit Potala Palace, the winter palace of the Dalai Lama and one of the most famous architecture works of Tibet & the cream of Tibetan culture. It will take you at least 2 hours to visit all those rooms, halls and chapels. In the afternoon go for a tour to Jokhang monastery, bustling with worshippers and redolent with mystery. It has architectural features from the Tang Dynasty. The quadrangle of streets surrounding the Jokhang is the Barchor Bazaar- most interesting pilgrimage circuit of Lhasa,  which gives you a curious sensation of having slipped through time into a medieval carnival. D03 Lhasa
Bid a tour for Sera Monastey where you can enjoy the excellent lection debate if you are lucky, and Norbulingka, the summer palace of Dalai Lama. After visit to Tibet Museum and local family, you can also have a vivid impression about Tibetan culture and religion. (B+L)

D04 Lhasa-Gyantse
Drive from Lhasa to Gyantse. The road to Gyantse meanders down through the Kyichu Valley to Yarlong Tsampa (Brahmaputra) River before climbing over Khama La Pass at 4,900 m (16,076 ft). We will stop to take a breath in this majestic topography - the serene turquoise Lake of Yamdrok Tso with a backdrop of snow-topped mountains. Before reaching Gyantse, we will make one more ascent over Karo La at 5,200 m (17,060 ft). (B+L)

D05 Gyantse-Shigatse
Here we will soak up the old-world atmosphere of Tibetan rural life. For centuries, this town has dominated the wool and timber trade routes from Nepal, Sikkim and Bhutan. We will explore the 14-15th century fortress and Palkhor Monastery, most notably the Gyantse Kumbum, the Stupa of 100,000 Deities, which is one of most famous architectural achievements in Tibet. In the afternoon drive to Shigatse. (B+L)

D06 Shigatse-Lhasa
Shigatse is pleasantly covered in trees, a view which is quite rare in Tibet. The city is divided into two parts - the charming old town retaining old Tibetan homes lining the narrow streets, and the newer commercial district with department stores and karakoke bars. Visit the Tshilunpo Monastery, which is the residence of Banchan Lama. It hosts the world largest bronze statue, which was built in 1904 for Qianba Buddha. Drive back to Lhasa. (B+L)

D07 Lhasa departure
Transfer to the airport for departure flight. (B)

Services included in the price:

1) All hotels (twin sharing bases) as listed in the itinerary
It is based on two adults sharing one twin bedded room, double occupancy. A customer who travels alone is required to pay a single supplement. We do not provide sharing room for single traveler. When the above hotels are not available, similar category hotels will be substituted. If there are any special requirements with regard to the rating of accommodation, such as replacing 4 star with 5-star or 3-star in order to have more comfortable accommodation or gain more favorable prices, please advise us as soon as possible so that we can revise the quotation to reflect your needs.

2) Meals as listed in the itinerary, B=breakfast, L=Lunch, D-Dinner
Daily American breakfast is served in the hotel, and Chinese lunch and/or dinner will be served at the designated tourist restaurants. Sometimes we do not include the dinner into the program. As from the previous customer's responses, we find that most of our clients prefer to leave the dinners open on their own so that they can enjoy some time themselves after a day's tour with our guide and driver. They can choose either to go to a local restaurant for a little adventure or to have a simple dinner in the hotel where they stay. They may also prefer to choose a unique restaurant which appeals to their own unique interests. We have previous clients saying that they missed western food after 10 days' lunches and dinners all in Chinese style and at last they decided to skip the Chinese dinner in local restaurant and choose to have a western dinner in hotel.

3) Professional guides in each city
All our guides have the guide license issued by China Tourism Administration Bureau and are proficient in culture and linguists. Without special request, normally we will assign English speaking guide. French, German, Spanish and Italian speaking guides are also available in such big tourist cities as Beijing, Xian, Shanghai and Guilin. But it is subject to availability when your tour begins. In other areas like Tibet, Yunnan, Suchuan, we can only assign English speaking guide.

4) Coach for transfer and sightseeing
Private transfers between airports, train stations, hotels and all sightseeing spots. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges

9) Should your tour include Tibet, the fee for applying for Tibet Travel Permit is included.
For applying for the permit, you are required to provide the copies of your visa and passports (the page with the photo) and other information such as your Sex, Nationality, Date of Birth, Passport Number, Issuing Time of Passport, Expire Time of the Passport and Occupation. Tibet Permit can be issued two weeks prior to your entry Tibet.

2) Any personal Charges such as excess baggage charge, phone bills, postage, laundry, or drinks.

3) Meals not mentioned in the itinerary

4) tips for tour guide or driver, porter age and on the cruise

5) visa and passport fee

6) charges arising from deviation

7) expenses for extra staying
